Relationships
Marriage Rules: A Manual for the Married and Coupled Up by Harriet Lerner — This is the best book on couple relationships I've ever read! Read each rule with your partner and decide whether that rule is one you would like for your relationship. Bookmark the ones you want and when you finish the book, you will have a list of your own, personal rules.
The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John M. Gottman and Nan Silver — Another good book on couple relationships. I particularly like the chapters on conflict and overcoming gridlock.
And Baby Makes Three: A Six-Step Plan for Preserving Marital Intimacy and Rekindling Romance After Baby Arrives by John Gottman and Julie Schwartz Gottman — A great book to read and talk about with your partner during pregnancy.
Babyproofing Your Marriage by Stacie Cockrell, et al — Written by a group of moms, this book offers a realistic look at, and solutions to, common issues couples have after baby arrives.
